High-intensity circuits designed for women looking for a quick and effective workout at the convenience of their own home!
Who can benefit from this program?
This program is designed for women who are looking to get in better shape with quick and effective circuits but can’t make it to the gym on certain days during the week, and/or who struggle with creating workouts of their own. Women who are on-the-go from morning to night can utilize these readily, structured circuits into their daily routine without missing a day at the gym. Essentially, this program is for the go-getters who want to get the most out of their training even when time and resources are limited!
How is this program useful towards my fitness goals?
This program includes both full body and body-part focused circuits carefully put together to create a high intensity workout within a 15 to 25-minute window. All of these workouts can be performed at the convenience of your own home utilizing basic equipment such as steppers, kettlebells, dumbbells, and medicine balls. Additionally, furniture and objects such as chairs or stacked books can be easily substituted for some of the exercises! These circuits are accessible at your disposal and will serve as an alternative gym workout by immediately increasing the heart rate and blood flow to the working muscles, and ultimately giving you a great sweat. The high-intensity circuit training ultimately provides beneficial results physically and mentally, just as you would feel after a workout at the gym.
How does this program work?
There are 8 different circuits you can choose from in this program that target either certain areas of the body or the full body with minimal equipment. Each circuit generally comprises of either a “beginner” or “advanced” circuit, with 1 circuit (the Booty Circuit) also containing 2 different versions for each level of difficulty. Choose the desired circuit of choice, and perform each exercise in the order as listed for 30 seconds with a 10-second rest in between each exercise. Repeat the circuit 2 or 3 times, depending on time availability and desired difficulty.
Each circuit is listed under the Home HIIT Circuit Program in the Teachable website with workout videos of each circuit explaining the form and technique, as well as different variations and substitute exercises. Additionally, there are full downloadable PDF documents of each circuit for those who prefer a visual layout of the exercises. These documents include a list of all the exercises from each circuit in order with my personal tips of what to focus on during each movement.

Your Instructor
Alexis Ocampo is a current member of the AAU-USA National Karate Team with over 2 decades of training, teaching, and elite-level competition experience. She has had experience in coaching athletes from a beginner to an adult level of all ages in both national and international championships. Her love of karate and overall fitness/wellness led to her earning a master's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Alexis is currently an Exercise Physiologist in the Non-Invasive Cardiology Department at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Downtown Chicago. She works closely with cardiology patients by performing treadmill and pharmacological stress tests in order to detect heart disease.
As a former ACE-certified personal trainer, Alexis' collective knowledge in both karate and her education in exercise physiology reignited her passion in coaching others. Her mission is to help you gain strength and confidence with your body and achieve your fitness goals. As a forever student, her goal is to continuously grow and improve her knowledge and capabilities while helping you to do the same.
